For me it would be a "con". I was paranoid about rolling over on my baby or not waking up if something happened the few times he did sleep in our bed. We kept him in a bassinet at the side of the bed for the first 5 months.
For me, I wouldn't be getting the sleep I needed. At least in his crib I know he's safe (he's also older now)

I was always terrified of rolling on him while breastfeeding. I was always exhausted with him, functioned on very little sleep & I have always been a light sleeper/troubled sleeper.. but when I finally fall asleep... I am a sound sleeper! I would have nightmares of rolling on him & sleeping through it, so no for me. Everyone is different & has different situations... if it works for you, then all the best!!!
